Logging in to Online Banking for the First Time


Q. When will the merger be complete?
  All of your Central Bank accounts transitioned to Rockland Trust accounts on February 25, 2013.

Q. Will my branch stay open?
Yes. Rockland Trust plans to maintain operations of the Central Bank branches after the merger. 

Q: Will my account number(s) remain the same?
Your account number may change slightly. Your account number was communicated in the Welcome Package that was mailed to you.

Q: Will Rockland Trust continue to automatically deduct payments, bills, and external loan payments from my account?
: Yes. Electronic payment arrangements will continue uninterrupted.

Important Note: If you have recurring payments processed using your Central Bank debit card, provide service providers with your new debit card account number to ensure a smooth transition.

Q: Can I still access telephone banking?
Yes. For security reasons, you will need to establish a new access number and PIN. To establish an access number and PIN, you must call our Customer Information Center at 855.785.4383. 

Q: What is Rockland Trust's routing and transit (ABA) number?



Q: Can I still use my Central Bank checks?
Yes. Your Central Bank checking account checks and deposit tickets will continue to be honored. 

Q: Will I receive a new ATM and/or debit card?
Yes. We recently mailed your new Rockland Trust card(s) and Personal Identification
Number(s) (PINs). If you have not received your new Rockland Trust ATM/debit card by, please contact us at 855.785.4383.

Q: When can I start using my new ATM and/or debit card? 
 Beginning February 25, 2013, you can start using your new Rockland Trust ATM or debit card. our Central Bank card will no longer be active as of February 25, 2013. 

Q: Can I make ATM deposits at other bank ATMs?
No. Beginning Monday, February 25, 2013, ATM deposits will be accepted only at Rockland Trust ATMs. 

Q: Will Rockland Trust continue to automatically deduct payments, bills, and external loan payments from my account?
A: Yes. Electronic payment arrangements will continue uninterrupted.

Q: What will happen to direct deposit of payroll or Social Security payments going into my account?
A: Direct deposit of payroll, Social Security, pension, or government payments will automatically continue after your account converts to Rockland Trust. You will receive a separate communication after the conversion is complete with instructions on how to update your bank information with the Social Security Administration.

Q: Will there be any changes to my deposit statements?
A: Yes. Your statement(s) will look slightly different. You will receive your savings statement monthly if there has been an electronic transaction that month; otherwise, you will receive your statement quarterly. If you receive e-statements for your checking or savings accounts,
you will continue to receive e-statements through Rockland Trust Online Banking.  If you had combined statements prior to the conversion, you will need to contact Rockland Trust after the conversion to recombine these statements.

Q: Will there be changes to my CD/IRA passbook account?
Yes. Passbooks for your CD account(s) will no longer be updated and you will no longer receive statements. You will receive a pre-renewal notice prior to the maturity of your CD. If you have an IRA CD, statements will be mailed every June 30 and December 31.

Q: Will there be any changes to the interest rate of my existing Certificate of Deposit (CD)?
A: No. The interest rate and term of your existing CD will remain the same through maturity. Prior to maturity you will receive a CD pre-renewal notice. At maturity, or during the grace period of 10 calendar days following and including the maturity date, you may change the term, interest payment frequency, or principal amount of your CD. During the grace period, you may also choose not to renew your CD. If you do not make any changes, your CD will automatically renew for the term indicated on your CD pre-renewal notice.

Q: Will my IRA account change?
A: No. There will be no changes to the terms of your existing IRA. Upon conversion, Rockland Trust will become custodian of your IRA.

Loan Questions

Q: Does Rockland Trust offer overdraft protection?
A: Yes. If you have overdraft protection and overdraw your account, you will be covered for the exact amount of the overdraft, up to the amount of your overdraft line. Overdraft advances will no longer be in $25 increments.

Q: Does Rockland Trust offer Overdraft Privilege?
A: Yes. If you currently are enrolled in an overdraft privilege program at Central Bank, you will continue to have this service at Rockland Trust.

Q: How do I make my monthly overdraft protection payment?
If your overdraft protection is tied to a line of credit, any monthly payments that are due will be automatically debited from your Rockland Trust checking account on the payment due date. You will no longer receive a monthly bill.

Q: Are there any changes to the terms of my loan(s)? 
A: No. The terms of your loan will remain the same.

Q: Will my loan account number remain the same?
A: Yes. There will be no changes to your loan account number.

Q: Where do I make my loan payments?
A: You can make loan payments through online banking, at any Rockland Trust branch, or you can mail your payment to:

Online Payments: If you use an online banking provider outside of Central Bank, please update your account with the address above. Rockland Trust's routing number is 011304478.

Q: Will Rockland Trust continue to automatically debit my deposit account for my loan payment?
Yes. Any automated payment arrangement will continue uninterrupted. The bank will attempt to draw funds from your deposit account for three days beginning on your scheduled automatic payment date.

Q: Will I still be able to use my home equity line of credit?
Yes. After the conversion is complete, you will still have access to your line of credit. Draw amounts will be for the exact amount of the advance. Draws will no longer be in increments of $500.

Q: Will I be able to use my existing home equity checks?
A: Yes. At this time your Central Bank home equity checks will continue to be honored. You will receive new checks after the conversion.

Q: I have a loan secured by collateral. What do I need to provide my insurance company?
A: To update your policy, you will need to contact your insurance company and provide them with the following Mortgagee/Loss Payee information.

Q: Can I continue to use my Central Bank credit card?
A: Yes. You can continue to use your existing Central Bank credit card.

Online Banking Questions

Q: Will I have the same user ID?
A: Unless we have notified you otherwise, you will maintain the same user ID that you used with your Central Bank Online Banking.

Q: What information will transfer from Central Bank Online Banking to Rockland Trust Online Banking?
A: Your e-statements, payee information, scheduled and recurring bill payments, scheduled transfers, and e-bills will be transferred.

Q:  What information will not transfer from Central Bank Online Banking to Rockland Trust Online Banking?
A: Your online banking account history with Central Bank was not transferred, but can be accessed by viewing your e-statements, which were transferred. If you use account alerts, you will need to set them up in Rockland Trust Onlibe Banking.

Q: When will the funds be removed from my account when paying a bill using bill pay?
A: When you make an online payment, Rockland Trust's bill pay system doesn't debit
your account until your payee processes your payment. This is different than your
Central Bank bill pay, which debited your account within two business days of submitting
a bill payment.

Q: What is daily the cut-off time to make an online banking bill pay?
A: The daily cut-off time to submit a bill payment is 3:00 p.m.
