About Us

Since 1907 Rockland Trust has participated as an active member in our communities, by providing both financial and volunteer resources.   As a bank that employs close to 1,000 individuals and serves more than 200,000 business and individual customers, we place a high value on "giving back" to our communities through volunteerism and philanthropy.  In addition, we hold several bank-wide community initiatives throughout the year, engaging the help of our customers and employees to support local organizations. This support is demonstrated in numerous ways:

  • Rockland Trust provides scholarships for local youth. As part of our commitment to assist local youth in achieving their potential, $40,000 in scholarships are awarded annually to students within our service area.  Click here for more information.
  •  Charitable giving programs that provide financial support to community-based non-profit organizations that are dedicated to youth programs, education, health and human services, and community development.  Click here for more information.
  • All Rockland Trust employees receive two paid days off each year to volunteer. Employees may use these days to volunteer by themselves, with colleagues, or with their families.  Click here to see our employees in the community.
  • RockCorp (Rockland Trust Community OutReach Program) is the bank's employee-based volunteer group, providing volunteer assistance to non-profit organizations within the Rockland Trust footprint. Volunteers work on clean-ups, assist at fundraising events, sort canned goods at local food pantries, and perform other helpful tasks. Any project is considered as long as it benefit  a community served by Rockland Trust. Click here for more information.
