Rockland Trust Launches 2013
Food Pantry Drive
Please join us as we partner with our communities to help ensure no one goes hungry. Each year Rockland Trust collects contributions of non-perishable and canned food and other household items for local food pantries throughout our footprint. This year we expanded our drive to include pantries in Arlington, Burlington, Chestnut Hill, Malden, Medford, Melrose, Somerville, and Woburn for the first time.
From April 1 to 30, 2013, we will accept donations at all our branches. To participate, visit a local branch with your donations. Please click here to locate the branch nearest to you. To see a list of the items we are collecting for the food pantries, please click here.

Six $2,500 scholarships will be awarded.
- Graduating seniors in Plymouth, Barnstable, and Bristol counties, and in the towns of Braintree, Cohasset, Quincy, Randolph, Somerville, Stoughton, Watertown, Weymouth, and Wellesley are eligible to apply.
- In 2013, we expanded our scholarship program into Middlesex County through its acquisition of Central Bank. Graduating seniors in Arlington, Burlington, Chestnut Hill, Malden, Medford, Melrose, Somerville and Woburn are also invited to apply.

Applications are available in all Rockland Trust branch locations.

The deadline for all applications is March 15. Award recipients will be notified no later than May 10.

Rockland Trust also provides scholarships through the Rockland Trust Charitable Foundation scholarship program, which awards ten $2,500 scholarships to high school students in the MetroWest region.
Scholarship winners are selected by The Rockland Trust Charitable Foundation and a committee formed by the principal of each school. For more information about the Rockland Trust Charitable Foundation scholarships, please click here.
