1.  Q. How do I enroll for mDeposit? 
A.
  Follow the link "Enroll Now" above to complete the enrollment questionnaire and download the app from the App store.  At the App Store, search for "Rockland Trust mDeposit.".

2.  Q. How do I get my Username and Password?
A. You will receive your password via e-mail with instructions on how to get your Username. It may take up to five business days for us to send you your temporary password via e-mail.

3.  Q. Do I need to pre-qualify for mDeposit?
A. There is a screening process that we follow after you complete the questionnaire. Essentially we want to ensure that you are a customer in good standing.

4.  Q. Do I need to take a photo of both the front and back of the check?
A. Yes, the app will prompt you to take a picture of both the front and back of your check . As in any deposit, you will need to endorse the check and enter your checking account number.

5.  Q. How do I know if the picture of the check is clear enough for deposit?
A. Once you take the picture of the check, you will be asked if you think it is clear enough. When you submit it, the app will review your submission. If the picture is not clear enough it will let you know and prompt you to take the pictures again.

6.  Q. What should I do with the check after I have deposited it through the phone?
A.  The app will tell you that the deposit "upload" was successful. However, that doesn't mean that the deposit is complete. You should hold on to the check for two business days after you receive an e-mail notification from us that your deposit has been accepted. If for any reason your check is returned, we will send you an image of the item you initially deposited for verification.

7.  Q. How long does it take to deposit the funds/when will the funds be available?
A. Generally, funds will be available the next day if you make your deposit before 7 p.m. est.

8.  Q. How will I know the deposit was accepted?
A. If you make the deposit during a business day before 7 p.m. est., you will receive an e-mail from us that day letting you know if the deposit was accepted or if there was an issue. If you deposit after 7 p.m. est. during a business day or anytime on a weekend or holiday, you will receive notification the next business day.

9.  Q. What do I do if the deposit isn't accepted?
A. If there is an issue with the deposit, you will receive an e-mail giving you directions on what to do next.

10.  Q. Do I need to use a deposit slip?
A. No. Sending a clear picture of the front and back of the check is all that's needed for the deposit.

11.  Q. Do I need to endorse the check?
A. Yes, all checks deposited, regardless of how they are deposited, are required to be endorsed with your signature and the account number you are depositing to.

12.  Q. How will I know what my daily deposit limit is?
A. You will receive your daily limit in the e-mail that contains your password.

A. You will receive your password via e-mail and we will call you with your Username. It may take up to five business days for us to send you your temporary password via e-mail.

A.  Yes, your scanner must be Twain compatible.

6.  Q. Do I need to scan both the front and back of the check?
A. Yes, you  will be prompted to take scan both the front and back of your check . As in any deposit, you will need to endorse the check and enter your checking account number.

A.  You should hold on to the check for two business days after you receive an e-mail notification from us that your deposit has been processed. If for any reason your check is returned, we will send you an image of the item you initially deposited for verification.
