Complaint Process for Foreclosures and Loan Modifications
If you have a complaint regarding your Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac residential mortgage modification or foreclosure, such as:
- Your loan was not evaluated properly for a foreclosure prevention alternative
- You were inappropriately denied a foreclosure alternative
- We failed to suspend foreclosure actions in violation of investor guidelines
- We failed to act in accordance with borrower outreach, evaluation, or borrower response
- You are considering litigation

If you contact Rockland Trust using one of the above methods, you will receive a written response within three business days acknowledging receipt of your complaint. A review of your complaint will be conducted, and a resolution will be provided generally within 15 days of receipt of your complaint. In some instances, additional time to resolve your complaint may extend beyond 15 days, but will not exceed 30 days from receipt of your escalated case.
