2021 Paycheck Protection Program Forgiveness Portal Walkthrough

Below is a video walkthrough as well as the written steps for the 2021 PPP Forgiveness portal. We encourage you to review these resources to ensure you are prepared to submit your Forgiveness application. In most cases, this application process will take less than 15 minutes.

One you are ready to enter the 2021 Forgiveness portal, you may do so by clicking the below button.

Step-by-step Instructions


Step 1.

Rockland Trust will provide you with a URL to access the 2021 Forgiveness portal.


Step 2.

In the “Existing Customers: Look Up Your account” screen, enter your information in these fields:

  • Business TIN (EIN or SSN)
  • Authorized Representative Email Address
  • Authorized Representative Personal SSN


Step 3.

Click the “I’m not a robot” checkbox and follow the instructions. After you successfully complete those instructions, a green checkmark will appear.


Step 4.

Click the “Find My Account” button and your loan will appear.


Step 5. 

Click the “Start Forgiveness as” button.

Step 6. 

Complete the remaining fields and click the "Submit" button.


Step 7. 

On the Status page that displays, upload Supporting Documents.

Please note: If your loan was $150,000 or under, you do not need to upload supporting documents. 


Step 8. 

Click the “Submit for Review” button.


The completed Forgiveness application is automatically routed to us at Rockland Trust. You will then receive a notification from us (within a few days) that your application was either approved or we need additional information.

If the application is approved, you will receive an eSign link to the Forgiveness form for signature. Once you have eSigned the application, it will be sent to the SBA for approval.

If the application is not approved, the email will request that you submit more information for the Credit Administrator to review again.
