Mediastruction and Rockland Trust Win Two Gramercy Institute Marketing Awards

Norwell and Rockland, Mass March 30, 2017 – Mediastruction, a marketing consultant firm, and Rockland Trust, a regional commercial bank, won two awards from the Gramercy Institute at the 17th annual Marketing Strategy Awards ceremony. The two organizations received the “Innovation” award and were also named the overall winner as the “Best of” the Focus Awards category out of 16 international firms. The Institute’s annual global awards honor excellence in marketing strategy for financial institutions.

Mediastruction and Rockland Trust received the awards for their agent based-modelling approach utilizing data to quantify the value of each media channel and its contribution to the power of the Bank’s brand. As a result of this approach, Rockland Trust and Mediastruction identified the media channels most effective in reaching customers and developed a strategy seeking to optimize those channels. While agent-based modelling is often used in military campaigns and by large international brands, it is innovative for smaller independent organizations to employ the strategy.
