Hanover, Mass. (July 13, 2020) – Rockland Trust announced today the hiring of William (Bill) R. Logan, CWS® (Certified Wealth Strategist) as Vice President and Commercial Financial Consultant for the Bank’s Investment Management Group (IMG). As a Commercial Financial Consultant, Bill is responsible for evaluating the needs and goals of the bank’s client base in order to develop customized, long-term solutions to help build and protect their wealth. He will work primarily out of IMG’s Franklin and Milford offices, but will assist clients across the Rockland Trust footprint throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Bill brings over 25 years of experience working in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Rockland Trust, Bill held senior positions at Ledyard Financial Advisors, Citizens Private Wealth Management, Fidelity Family Office Services, and BNY Mellon Private Wealth Management. Within each role he focused on managing complex trust and investment relationships.
Bill received a BA from Providence College and his Certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University. He holds FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses and is a Certified Wealth Strategist®. Bill sits on the boards of the Lighthouse School, Inc. and the President’s Council of Providence College. He is a former Board member of the Rhode Island Historical Society, Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England, Norfolk & Plymouth Estate & Business Planning Council, and the Economic Development Commission of Scituate. Bill was also member of the Board of Selectman and the Finance Committee in his hometown of Chelmsford, MA. He resides in Scituate, MA with his wife Kate and their three daughters, Shannon, Megan and Erin.
