Richard C. Muraida Joins Rockland Trust Commercial Lending Team

Leads Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program

ROCKLAND, Mass. (January 21, 2014) - Rockland Trust today announced Richard C. Muraida has joined the bank as First Vice President. In this position, Muraida will be responsible for developing and expanding the bank's efforts in the area of affordable housing throughout New England.

Prior to joining Rockland Trust, Muraida has held senior level positions at Eagle Bank, Boston Private Bank & Trust, Anglo Irish Bank, Eastern Bank, Fleet National Bank, and Bank of Boston. Muraida is also treasurer and board member for the Community Economic Development Assistance Corporation, a board member of the Citizens Housing and Planning Association, and of the South Shore Conservatory. In addition, he is a member of the Massachusetts Housing Partnership Fund and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP). Muraida currently resides in Duxbury.
