Rockland Trust Appoints Mark Sills Vice President and Business Banking Officer

Former Small Business Owner Joins Team Serving Middlesex County

ROCKLAND, Mass. (February 19, 2013) - Rockland Trust announced it appointed Mark Sills as Vice President and Business Banking Officer. Based in Somerville, Sills is responsible for providing personalized banking service to help small businesses in Malden, Medford, Melrose and Somerville.

"Mark brings a wealth of experience to the Business Banking division at Rockland Trust," said Mary Warren, Business Banking Manager at Rockland Trust. "Not only is he a seasoned banker, but he is also a former business owner and knows well the challenges of managing a small business. Prior to joining Rockland Trust, Sills was a Business Banking Officer at Brookline Bank and a Business Banker at Sovereign Bank. Previously, he was co-owner of Sorelle Bakery & Café in Charlestown for fifteen years.

Sills graduated from Naugatuck Valley Community College in Waterbury, CT, with a liberal arts degree. He currently resides in Marshfield.
