Rockland Trust Charitable Foundation Donates $10,000 to HESSCO Elder Services

SHARON, Mass. (March 20, 2013) - The Rockland Trust Charitable Foundation today announced it donated $10,000 to HESSCO Elder Services to support the organization's Care Transition Program, which works to ease the transition for elderly patients from the hospital to their homes. Based in Sharon, HESSCO Elder Services offers a wide variety of services throughout Sharon, Canton, Dedham, Foxborough, Medfield, Millis, Norfolk, Norwood, Plainville, Walpole, Westwood, and Wrentham that help elders live independently in their homes.

HESSCO Elder Services offers home care, money management, legal services, meal-delivery, and nutrition counseling to elders in the South Norfolk County community at no cost or for a minimal fee. The organization's goal is to make it easier for older individuals and families to access comprehensive health and supportive services.
