ROCKLAND, Mass. – May 9, 2019 – Rockland Trust announced its Investment Management Group (IMG) reached $4 billion in assets under administration as of April 30, 2019. Assets under administration grew by nearly 16.5 percent year over year, from April 30, 2018 to April 30, 2019.
This significant milestone reflects the strong growth of IMG in the last year, which included the opening of investment management offices in Hyannis and Worcester, new presence in Milford (including $160.9 million in assets under administration acquired as part of the acquisition of The Milford National Bank), and the Cape Cod Team surpassing $500 million in assets. Concurrent with this continued growth were several key appointments to the team increasing the breadth and depth of experience and expertise offered to clients.
“This is a tremendous achievement for the IMG team and is due in no small part to the strong relationships we’ve cultivated over the years with clients, families, businesses and Centers of Influence,” said David B. Smith, CFA, Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer at Rockland Trust. “We are excited about our future including the opportunity to build new relationships from our recent transaction of Blue Hills Bank.
