Brian Rocha is a Vice President and Retirement Plan Services Financial Consultant who joined Rockland Trust in 2020. Brian is committed to assisting business owners and their employees understand their retirement plan options to help them set and achieve their retirement plan goals. He is also responsible for education and communication to retirement plan participants at Rockland Trust on a variety of topics including financial planning, portfolio management, budgeting, asset allocation/diversification, and estate planning.
Brian has worked in the financial services industry since 2004. Prior to joining Rockland Trust, he was a Vice President and Portfolio Manager with Bank of America Private Bank where he managed $300M of client assets and created financial plans to help clients achieve long term wealth goals. He has also worked as a Retirement Plan Consultant with both Transamerica and Great-West where he conducted group education meetings and assisted participants with retirement planning needs. Brian received his BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Bryant University. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor.
Brian belongs to various professional organizations such as the CFA Society Providence and the Rhode Island Financial Planning Association. He is also active in the community and serves as a mentor for students at Orlo Elementary school in East Providence and has volunteered at the Rhode Island Food Bank, Save the Bay and Habitat for Humanity. Brian resides in Cumberland, RI with his wife and two children.
