Gary Friedmann is Vice President and Portfolio Manager and has been with Rockland Trust since 2011. Gary is responsible for integrating an investment strategy that reflects our clients’ objectives, financial goals, and risk tolerance including custom asset allocation, long-term goal planning, and securities research.
Gary has worked in the financial services industry since 1985. Prior to joining Rockland Trust, Gary was Director of Investments at Washington Trust Investors. While there he was responsible for the management of investment portfolios and was a member of the investment committee which set investment policy and managed the firm’s core equity model. He also held a position at Fleet Investment Advisors. Gary received a BS in business administration with a concentration in finance from State University of New York at Albany. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designations, and a Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement.
Gary sits on the board of the Fund for UCAP and was a former President of the Providence Society of Financial Analysts. Gary lives in North Kingstown Rhode Island with his family.
