- The John M. Barry Boys & Girls Club of Newton: $340,000 to renovate the Club’s lobby and to create an expanded education center. The center, managed by a full-time certified Education Director/Teacher, will offer new learning-focused programs – primarily in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) activities as well as in reading, computer competence, and homework assistance.
- Waltham Boys & Girls Club: $335,000 to help fully renovate the auditorium. The renovated auditorium will serve as a central point for the Club’s arts programs for young people.
- Hockomock Area YMCA Bernon Family Branch in Franklin: $250,000 to install a splash park. The splash park will be accessible to all ages and abilities, adding value to the summer camp, child care, and after school programs, while providing families with a place to spend quality time together.
- Jewish Community Centers of Greater Boston in Newton: $200,000 to build an outdoor pavilion for arts and nature programming. The pavilion will serve as a hub of learning and information for families and children in the area.
