Providence, RI – November 29, 2021 – Rockland Trust recently expanded its Dealer Financial Services Lending Team with the appointment of Michael Walsh as Vice President, Commercial Lending. In this role, Michael will be responsible for generating and developing relationships with dealerships throughout New England, New Jersey, and New York.

Michael brings over thirty years of dealer financial services lending experience to Rockland Trust. Before joining the Bank, Michael spent seven years at Sun Trust Bank (now Truist) as a Senior Vice President, where he led the expansion into Boston for dealer commercial services as well as drove commercial loan growth for automotive dealers throughout New England. A lifelong Rhode Island resident, Michael graduated from Salve Regina University with a Bachelor of Science in Financial Management.
