About Ms. Money

Now, AVP/Financial Education Development & Strategy Officer at Rockland Trust, Julie has performed the award winning Ms. Money & the Coins®, at nearly 200 elementary schools in Massachusetts to more than 80,000 students since November 2011. The music, lessons and engaging curriculum that “sings the tune for financial literacy” is now available in Ms. Money’s classroom (in both English and Spanish) for teachers and families to share with their students and children.

An accredited financial counselor (AFCPE) and certified financial educator (AAFCS), Julie has spent the last decade delivering financial education through engaging and entertaining platforms. From game shows to stage shows; podcasts to podiums, Julie’s “no shame” style of teaching personal finance influences all of her programming. Her background in theatre (NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts), disdain for complicated jargon and natural inclination to “break things down,” put people of all ages and background at ease and more able to learn….and maybe even laugh.
