Chris Gauch Joins Rockland Trust as Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking Officer

 

September 10, 2026 - Rockland Trust is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Gauch as Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking Officer. Gauch will be leading a team of commercial bankers at the Bank’s Braintree Commercial Lending Center to develop new middle market commercial and industrial (C&I) relationships.

“It’s a pleasure to welcome Chris to the team,” said Patrick Walsh, Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending Center Manager. “His extensive experience in middle market banking, strong track record of developing client relationships, and demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams will be invaluable as we continue to expand our C&I business throughout the region.”

Gauch brings more than 35 years of banking and management experience to Rockland Trust. Prior to joining the Bank, he worked at PNC Bank as a Senior Vice President/Senior Relationship Manager in the Business Credit division. He also previously worked at Ally Corporate Finance (formerly GMAC Commercial Finance) as a Vice President/Senior Account Executive, Bank of America as a Vice President/Senior Account Executive, and Citizens First National Bank as a Banking Officer.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing from Rutgers University and has completed credit training in Agency Risk Management, Business Evaluation, Cash Flow Analysis and Forecasting, Credit Risk Evaluation, and Problem Loan Recognition. An active member of his community, Gauch formerly served as an Assistant Scoutmaster and High Adventure Coordinator for the Boy Scouts of America.
