Eric Johnson Joins Rockland Trust to Lead Commercial Real Estate Team in Braintree

August 7, 2026 – Rockland Trust today announced the appointment of Eric Johnson as Senior Vice President and Commercial Banking Center Manager. Stationed in the Bank's commercial office in Braintree, Massachusetts, Johnson will oversee the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Team and lead efforts to strengthen relationships with existing customers, cultivate new business opportunities, and support the commercial real estate financing needs of businesses and investors throughout the South Shore.

Johnson brings more than twenty years of commercial banking experience to Rockland Trust. Prior to joining the organization, he worked at Needham Bank for fifteen years, most recently serving as the Senior Vice President, Commercial Real Estate Lending Team Leader. He started his career with Bank of Canton as a credit analyst and worked his way up to the role of commercial loan officer.

Johnson earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a minor in International Studies from Bentley College. In addition to his professional work, Johnson is an active member of both the National Association of Realtors and NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association. He is also deeply involved in youth sports in the community, serving as Treasurer and Board Member of Tri-County Saints Youth Hockey and as Baseball Commissioner and Board Member of the Raynham Youth Baseball & Softball Association.
