September 22, 2022 - Somerset, MA – Rockland Trust is pleased to announce Glenn Silverberg has joined as Vice President, Senior Commercial Loan Officer for the Southcoast and Rhode Island market. In his new role, Glenn is responsible for the acquisition of new C&I relationships and the active management of a large complex portfolio of clients. Glenn will play a critical role in building relationships with clients and delivering an exceptional customer experience designed to retain and grow the portfolio.

Originally, Glenn joined Rockland Trust as a Business Banking Specialist in 2004 where he developed relationships with local businesses assisting them in growing their organizations, he also served as an Assistant Branch Manager until 2009. Since then, Glenn grew into commercial banking where he served as Commercial Relationship Manager for TD Bank and a Commercial Loan Officer for Bluestone Bank (formerly known as Bridgewater Savings Bank). Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President, Market Manager for commercial lending division of Citizens Bank in the South of Boston, Western Massachusetts and Cape & Island markets.
Glenn regularly volunteers for Father Bills & MainSpring shelter in Brockton, Massachusetts. When he is not working with clients or volunteering in the community, Glenn spends time with his family exploring the outdoors either fishing or snowmobiling. He has been a long-time resident of the South Shore and resides in Plympton with his family.
