Burlington, MA – January 17, 2023 – Rockland Trust is pleased to welcome Phillip Murphy to its Corporate Banking Team as Vice President, Relationship Manager. In this role, Murphy will provide thoughtful and value-adding lending, treasury and other financial solutions for middle market organizations across New England.
Murphy joins Rockland Trust with nearly two decades of experience in the commercial banking industry. Most recently, he spent eight years at Eastern Bank, holding a breadth of positions within the commercial lending division, with a focus in corporate banking.

Murphy earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economic Management and Psychology from Ohio Wesleyan University and his M.B.A. from Babson College. He resides in Hamilton, Massachusetts and enjoys spending his free time mountain biking, skiing, and generally exploring the outdoors with his family.
