Red Cross Hero Award Presented to Nanette Davidson, VP of Business Banking at Rockland Trust

Mashpee, Mass.  Nanette Davidson, Vice President of Business Banking for Rockland Trust in the Cape Cod region was named a Community Service Hero by the American Red Cross.  Awarded by the Cape & Islands Red Cross chapter, Nanette was nominated for her work in setting up “Loved Ones Against Drugs – Cape Cod Support Group,” a Facebook page dedicated to understanding and coping with all facets of a loved one’s drug addiction. Today, the page has over 500 members.

Each year, the Red Cross accepts nominations from the public for recognition of people who go above and beyond in service to others, exemplifying the spirit of the organization’s mission. Committed to helping people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies, the Red Cross salutes individuals who make a difference.

Nanette is also the Vice President and board member of the newly formed charitable foundation, WellStrong. A wellness recovery community that enables people of all ages to find the motivation they need to battle addiction and create a new lifestyle, Nanette’s goal is to open a new wellness center this year in Falmouth for those in recovery.
