Hanover, Mass. (August 14, 2017) – Rockland Trust announced the appointment of Gretchen Troiano as Vice President of Commercial Banking. She will be responsible for developing new commercial business and creating awareness of Rockland Trust’s brand to middle market companies north of Boston and throughout the New England region.
Gretchen is a seasoned banker with over 18 years of experience in credit analysis, portfolio management and lending to large corporate, leveraged, and middle marketing companies. Gretchen joins Rockland Trust from TD Bank where she served as Vice President and Relationship Manager. Earlier in her career, she developed and managed new business relationships for BankBoston’s Large Corporate and Diversified Finance divisions.
In conjunction with her corporate career, Gretchen served on the Steering Committee of the Boston Chapter of the CFO Leadership Council, participated in the Future Leaders of the Boston Chamber and was involved in Bentley University’s Women in Leadership programs. Outside of work, Gretchen volunteers and advocates for people with disabilities to enable them to live full and independent lives.
Gretchen received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Management from Tulane University and her Master’s in Business Administration from Northeastern University. She resides in Andover with her husband and two adult children.
