Quincy, Mass. (December 13, 2019) – The Rockland Trust Blue Hills Charitable Foundation presented a three-year grant totaling $30,000 ($10,000 per year) to NeighborWorks Housing Solutions. NeighborWorks offers affordable housing programs and assistance to communities across southern Massachusetts.

NeighborWorks Housing Solutions believes everyone should have a safe and affordable place to live. NHS has more than 70 years of combined experience in the community development field and provides services to more than 11,000 households in more than 75 cities and towns across Southern Massachusetts. NHS has built and managed more than 786 units of housing for veterans, homeless families and others in need. They also offer a wide range of housing services, including foreclosure prevention counseling, home rehabilitation loans and grants, financial coaching and first-time homebuyer workshops. By providing resources, assistance and education, NHS is helping to improve the well being and stability of families and individuals in our communities.
