Worcester, MA - March 31, 2022 - Earlier this year, Rockland Trust promoted Joshua Hazell to First Vice President, District Manager as well as Shana Hazen to Vice President, Regional Branch Manager. Together, Shana and Josh will strive to deepen Rockland Trust’s relationship-focused style of banking throughout Worcester County. Both colleagues were chosen for these promotions based on their high performance, commitment to the Worcester community and banking expertise.

In his new role as District Manager, Josh oversees eleven branches across Norfolk and Worcester County. He will also be influential in helping to lead the opening of Rockland Trust’s new Westborough branch which is scheduled to open in May. Previously, Josh served as a branch manager at Rockland Trust for over a decade. Prior to that, he was a branch manager for New Alliance Bank for four years. In his free time, Josh serves on the Board of Assessors for the Town of Medway, where he resides with his wife and two children.
Shana joined Rockland Trust in the summer of 2019. She has been essential to the Bank’s success in its expansion into Worcester. Shana was the branch manager of the bank’s first two branches in Worcester and was heavily involved in the opening of the Shrewsbury and Worcester Park Ave branches. As the Regional Manager for the Worcester Market, Shana will oversee the development and growth of all three Worcester branches as well as serve as the manager of Rockland Trust’s Grafton St branch. Shana is heavily involved with the Worcester Community, she serves on the fundraising committees for both The CASA Project and UMass Cancer Walk & Run, in addition she is on the steering committee for the Worcester Tercentennial celebration.
