North Quincy, Mass. (April 25, 2016) – Rockland Trust announced today that the bank will be opening a new branch in North Quincy at 495 Hancock Street on May 2, led by Hui (John) Yu. This marks the bank’s second location in the city of Quincy.
At the new branch, customers will be greeted by a Rockland Trust Relationship Banker, who will assist them in meeting their banking needs. The location features a modern design with an open floor plan that includes conversation pods and private meeting rooms as well as a drive-up teller lane, safety deposit boxes, and Smart envelope-free ATM's at the drive-up and in the lobby. In addition to English, service will be available in Cantonese, Mandarin, Fujianese, and Toishanese. The Bank plans to celebrate the new branch with special promotions and offers including a Grand Opening Raffle for $5,000.

Yu brings 16 years of industry experience to this position. Prior to Rockland Trust, he was a branch manager at Citizen’s Bank. Yu graduated from Quincy College with two Associate Degrees in Computer Programming and Criminal Justice. He is actively involved in Chinatown Main Street, and resides in Canton, Mass with his wife and three children.
