Worcester, MA – December 13, 2021 – Rockland Trust recently announced that Eric L. Goodwine has joined the Worcester commercial lending team as Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer. Eric will focus on developing and strengthening the Bank’s commercial lending relationships throughout Greater Worcester and Central Massachusetts. He will also pursue new lending opportunities for existing properties, construction, new development, and community redevelopment projects.

Eric brings a diverse array of experience in commercial and industrial lending, business capital originations, and middle market banking. Eric has spent over nine years in commercial banking, most recently in his role at Country Bank in Worcester. He started his commercial banking career with the Business Capital Group at Citizens Bank, and from there, transitioned to middle market banking and specialized industries lending for JPMorgan Chase in Boston. Eric is a graduate of Bentley University, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Finance.
As an active member of the Greater Worcester community, Eric sits on the board of the Worcester Regional Strategic Opportunities Foundation. He currently lives in Shrewsbury with his wife and daughter.
