Hanover, Mass. (June 12, 2020) – Rockland Trust announced today the hiring of Brian Rocha, CFP®, CRPC® as Vice President, Retirement Plan Services Financial Consultant, a newly established strategic position in the Bank’s Investment Management Group (IMG).
IMG has established an educational program for its retirement plan clients to help manage plan sponsor success. Brian will lead this program and bring his 16 years of experience to help service business owners and their employees with strategies to achieve their retirement goals, and understand all of the options available to them. Brian will bring a personal approach to retirement planning by offering clients insights and solutions specific to their needs through topical content and educational workshops on topics such as financial planning, portfolio management, budgeting, asset allocation/diversification, and estate planning.
Prior to Rockland Trust, Brian was a Vice President and Portfolio Manager with Bank of America Private Bank where he managed $300M in client assets. He also held the position of Retirement Plan Consultant with both Transamerica and Great-West. Brian received a Bachelor of Science from Bryant University, is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®). He currently belongs to professional organizations including the CFA Society Providence and the Rhode Island Financial Planning Association.
