August 5, 2026 – Rockland Trust has expanded its Corporate Banking team within the Commercial Banking division with the addition of Sep Salimi as Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking Officer. Based in the bank’s Burling Commercial Banking Center, Salimi will deliver customized lending, treasury management, and other financial solutions to middle market organizations throughout New England.
Salimi brings more than 16 years of banking experience, including the last six years specializing in corporate banking. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and Team Leader within the Tech Banking division at Silicon Valley Bank, a division of First Citizens Bank. Prior to that, he held commercial banking roles at Cambridge Trust (acquired by Eastern Bank), and Commerce Bank & Trust (acquired by Berkshire Bank). Earlier in his career, he held management positions in retail banking for both Santander Bank and TD Bank.

Salimi earned a master’s degree with a certificate in Advanced Management from Babson College, and an MBA in Finance and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Anna Maria College. He is professionally fluent in Farsi and holds several banking and commercial lending certifications. With a deep-rooted commitment to community, Salimi serves on the advisory board of BUILD Boston and as co-chair of its Boston Associate Board.
