Rockland Trust is proud to serve as a corporate partner along with Anton’s Cleaners and Jordan’s Furniture for two annual programs Belle of the Ball in the spring and Coats for Kids & Families in the fall through Caring Partners, Inc. a 501c(3) organization.
Caring Partners is an organization that develops and implements programs to collect and distribute good quality articles of clothing to children, individuals, and families in need. Serving Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island these programs were created to support and strengthen our communities which aligns perfectly with Rockland Trust. We are thrilled to serve as a corporate sponsor of these two amazing programs – Belle of the Ball and Coats for Kids & Families.
Collection drive dates will be announced in advance. Any Rockland Trust, Anton’s Cleaners or Jordan’s Furniture location will accept donations during the specific time periods.
Belle of the Ball cleans and distributes prom dresses to high school students who would otherwise not have the opportunity to attend their school’s prom. All gowns collected are professionally dry cleaned by Anton’s Cleaners. Since the program’s inception in 2005, more than 76,000 prom gowns have been collected and cleaned for local students.
Prom is one of the biggest life events for high school students, and a major milestone. For students with limited financial resources, prom can be a source of tremendous stress. We are proud to be a collection partner and a part of Boutique Day.
Each spring all Rockland Trust branches will accept donations of gently worn, trendy, prom dresses and gowns. If your closet feels a bit crowded with prom dresses and gowns taking up precious space, please consider donating them to the Belle of the Ball program.
The mission of Coats for Kids & Families is simple; “Anyone who needs a coat will have one.” Since 1995, Anton’s Cleaners has collected gently worn winter coats for kids and adults, which they professionally clean and distribute free of charge. Since the program’s creation, more than one million coats have been collected, cleaned, and distributed to local children and families. Coats are distributed to social services organizations and schools across our footprint.
In the fall all Rockland Trust branches will accept donations of gently worn winter coats to then be cleaned by Anton’s Cleaners before distributing to the communities we serve. Together, we will help make the winter warmer for children and families in our region through this worthwhile program.
