This summer marks the 50th anniversary of the iconic movie Jaws, filmed on Martha’s Vineyard — including scenes shot right outside our Edgartown Main Street branch, which was featured as “Amity Bank” in the film!
To celebrate, we’re hosting a JAWsome Photo Contest with some fin-tastic prizes! 🦈📸
Here’s how to enter:
- Like our Facebook page – Rockland Trust
- Visit our Edgartown Main Street Branch (2 South Water Street) and snap a creative photo of yourself inside with our "Amity Bank" sign from the original Jaws movie
- Post your photo in the comments section of this post. Entries will be accepted now through July 23, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. (limit: one entry per person)
- One winner will be selected at random to receive:
- A Jaws movie photo signed by Jeffrey Voorhees (a.k.a. Alex Kitner!)
- $200 Raw 19 Gift Card
- $100 Backwater Gift Card
- $50 Steamship Authority Gift Card

This Giveaway is open to all natural persons who are legal residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia, who are at least 18 years old at time of entry.
