WooRides is a low-carbon emission vehicle fleet, offering electric, hybrid, and people-powered transportation services and products, serving Worcester’s residents, families, workers, and youth. We are concerned for our ecology, of which humans are a part, and believe that greening our transportation is key to creating a resilient community. That is why we believe in using sustainable transportation technologies.
WooRides' 'Big Dreams':
We would purchase a second vehicle which would be compatible with after-market hybrid technology, or which would already be a hybrid or even an electric vehicle, in line with our sustainable transportation mission. This vehicle would enable us to deepen our impact as it would allow us to serve more children attending early childhood education centers and youth attending extracurricular programs. It would mean increasing our employee base to at least 4 FTE employees year-round.
