The End of the Penny
The U.S. Department of the Treasury has ended the penny production.
Important Fraud Alert
We are seeing an increase in fraud attempts where fraudsters are impersonating Rockland Trust and targeting business customers. Using publicly available Small Business Administration (SBA) data, fraudsters can identify businesses that have previously worked with Rockland Trust and use that information to appear legitimate.
As a reminder:
- Rockland Trust will never proactively contact you to request sensitive account information, including online banking credentials or debit card numbers.
- Never share your Secure Access Codes with anyone—even someone claiming to be from Rockland Trust.
- Rockland Trust will not ask you to log in to online banking during an unsolicited phone call, email, or text message.
- Use extreme caution when screen sharing or granting remote access to your computer or mobile device. Only allow access for individuals you know and trust.
