James C. Donnelly Joins IMG

James C. DonnellyBoston, Mass. (August 12, 2019) – Rockland Trust announced that James C. (Jay) Donnelly, Jr., was appointed Vice President and Commercial Financial Consultant for its Investment Management Group (IMG). In his new role, Jay provides investment management and retirement plan services to the Bank’s Commercial Lending clients in the Greater Boston communities and will draw from his extensive network of attorneys, accountants, and insurance professionals to deliver wealth management solutions. 

Jay brings 25 years of financial services experience to Rockland Trust. Prior to joining the Bank’s Investment Management Group, he was an Investment Officer in Boston College’s Endowment Office. Previously he was an Equity Analyst at Wells Fargo Securities and at FTN Equity Capital Markets. A Certified Public Accountant, Jay began his career at Arthur Andersen, after which he was appointed CFO for Koning Restaurants International and then became Owner/Operator of the Pacific Restaurant Group.

Jay received an MBA and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management. He resides in Newton.
