At Rockland Trust, each relationship matters and we recognize that your relationship with your money might need some love and attention right now. The first episode of the No Shame in this Money Game podcast makes some sense of these challenging economic times and leaves you with the know-how and tools to seek answers to a few of the personal finance questions, regarding your investments, that may be keeping you up at night.
Rockland Trust’s Financial Education Officer Julie Beckham interviews David Smith, Managing Director & Chief Investment Officer for Rockland Trust’s Investment Management Group. Dave oversees and manages IMG which provides comprehensive wealth management services ranging from investment management and financial planning to estate planning, insurance analysis and more. In his role, Dave is involved in performing research and setting investment policy, as well as managing client portfolios. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and has been with Rockland Trust for 16 years. IMG manages over $4 billion in assets for individuals, families, and institutions. They take a personal approach to wealth management in order to fully understand where you are now, where you want to go, and what you will need to get there.
We are happy to have Dave help us better understand the investment landscape in the world of COVID-19 – the effects it’s had on our market and global economy, the changes that have come to bear to support individuals and businesses, and what we should consider doing now with regard to our finances. Most recently, Dave and his team have authored weekly updates for their clients breaking down the current situation, its ongoing changes, and how to keep calm and stay the course.
