Rockland Trust’s Investment Management Group Appoints Anthony Forcione as Vice President and Portfolio Manager

Boston, MA – July 15, 2021– Rockland Trust announced today the hiring of Anthony Forcione, CFA, as Vice President and Portfolio Manager for the Bank's Investment Management Group (IMG). In this role, Forcione is responsible for integrating an investment strategy reflective of each client’s objectives, financial goals, and risk tolerance, including custom asset allocation, long term goal planning, and securities research. He will work primarily out of IMG's Boston office.

Anthony has worked in the financial services industry since 1992. Prior to joining Rockland Trust, he was a Portfolio Manager at BlackRock, where he managed more than $2 billion assets, and a Senior Equity Analyst at Loomis Sayles. Most recently, Anthony was a Managing Director at The Vant Group advising small to medium sized business owners.

Anthony received a BS in finance from Boston College and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He is on the Board of the Winchester Soccer Club and is the program director for TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer), a community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities. Since the beginning of 2021, Anthony serves as an adjunct lecturer for Bentley University in the finance department lecturing on the topics of equity valuation and equity research. He resides in Winchester with his wife, three children, and their dog.
