Support Small Businesses Spotlight: Between the Roses Florist

As we face unique and uncertain times, one thing remains clear: many small businesses in our local communities need our support now more than ever. Rockland Trust asked on social media for nominations for local small businesses that are making an impact in the communities they serve. Each Monday in May, Rockland Trust is randomly selecting one deserving small business to receive $1,500*.

We want to highlight the winning businesses, who are each giving back to the community in their own unique way. Our May 11 winner is Between the Roses Florist in Lakeville.

About Between the Roses Florist

Between the Roses Florist is a family-run business established in 2018 that is owned and operated by Patricia Westgate. Between the Roses Florist aims to create a welcoming environment for customers, working closely with them to ensure their event is just as — or better — then they imagined.

“In these difficult times, it is even more important to spread as much joy as we can,” says Owner and Designer Patricia. “I have always believed in the importance of giving back.”

Patricia does just that in her community. Aside from owning her business, she teaches CCD, coaches basketball and softball, and is a Cub Scout leader. From helping out in schools to supporting many fundraisers, Patricia loves looking for new opportunities to give back and Between the Roses Florist enables her to share her gifts and talents in many new and exciting ways.
