As we face unique and uncertain times, one thing remains clear: many small businesses in our local communities need our support now more than ever. Rockland Trust asked on social media for nominations for local small businesses that are making an impact in the communities they serve. Each Monday in April, Rockland Trust randomly selected one deserving small business to receive $1,000*.
We want to highlight the winning businesses, who are each giving back to the community in their own unique way. Our April 27 winner is B FREE Coaching & Wellness in Harwich Port.
About B FREE Coaching & Wellness
B FREE Coaching & Wellness is a wellness community that changes lives through movement, mindfulness and fun. B FREE Coaching & Wellness offers a variety of classes such as zumba, pound, meditation and yoga. It also offers individual coaching that helps to move difficult emotions out of the body.
“I designed B FREE so everyone could have a place to feel welcome, connected and unjudged. The community needs that more than ever, especially now,” says Ayanna Parrent, owner and founder of B FREE Coaching & Wellness.
Those who take classes with B Free Coaching & Wellness, or who utilize its coaching services, often have experienced something that they are trying to work through or overcome individually and in groups. Ayanna explains that this could be people who have experienced trauma, PTSD, addiction, domestic violence and young women facing cancer.
B FREE Coaching & Wellness has had to transition to all online classes due to COVID-19, and Ayanna has even dropped her pricing to allow for more people to access these classes.
The company is not stopping there. “We are in the process of developing a non-profit organization to develop direct programming for those dealing with really complex trauma affected by COVID-19,” says Ayanna.
Those who are interested in learning more about B FREE Coaching & Wellness can do so on their website: www.bfreewell.com, or follow them on Facebook and Instagram.
