At Rockland Trust, your relationship is important to us and our goal is to help you manage your money and avoid unexpected fees. That is why effective March 20, 2023, we have reduced or eliminated certain fees on personal accounts.

Here's what we've changed:

Bye Bye Fees

To help you manage your money and avoid fees, we’ve eliminated the Returned Item Insufficient Charge. This means, if we decline to pay an item, also referred to as “returning an item unpaid” for insufficient funds in your account, we will not assess an Insufficient Funds Fee.  We’ve also eliminated Uncollected Charges and the Auto Transfer Non-Sufficient Funds Fees.

Daily Overdraft Fee Cap

We’ve reduced the number of Overdraft Charges your account can be assessed per business day from five to three, regardless of the number of items presented to your account which cause a negative balance.

Increased Overdraft Cushion

We’ve increased your overdraft cushion from $5.00 to $20.00. Think of it as a “safe zone.” We will not assess an Overdraft Charge for any transaction we pay that causes your account to be overdrawn by $20.00 or less. In addition, we will not assess an Overdraft Charge for any transactions or purchases of $5.00 or less.

No Overdraft Account Link Fee

We will not charge you a fee when money is transferred from a linked account to cover an overdraft.
