Company Profile

In the Community

As a bank that employs over 1,000 individuals and serves more than 200,000 business and individual customers, we place a high value on "giving back" to our communities through volunteerism and philanthropy. In addition, we hold several bank-wide community initiatives throughout the year, engaging the help of our customers and employees to support local organizations.

Our History

Early in 1907 a local group of businessmen presented a prospectus to the town of Rockland and the surrounding communities, to take over the business of the First National Bank of Rockland, whose assets totaled more than $200,000.00. This transaction created the Rockland Trust Company, whose goal was to “promote the business activity and growth of Rockland and its vicinity”.

Charitable Giving

Since 1907 Rockland Trust has been active in the cities and towns we serve, providing both volunteer resources and financial assistance. In fact, many of our over 1,000 employees say that a highlight of working here is the opportunity to give back to their local community.
